Full Process Video

This is a speed paint of my design process for my photocard holders. It is 3 videos stitched together - designing (in rgb), redrawing the art in cmyk per manufacturer requirements, and a screen recording of my layers within procreate!

My Table Display

This is what my art table looked like for Ai-Kon of 2025. While I was happy overall with my design + layout, I also had plenty of ideas on how to improve my display before the convention was even over.
I've also done a little draw over of some of the things I noticed / want to (or have already) changed.
-Purple: While it's not necessarily dark in RBCCC, I felt like I created a dark spot on my table with the "awning" cover. To combat this I plan on hanging some small fairy lights to bring back some light in the dark corners.-Red: I found that the sides got less notice compared to anything front facing. I plan to minimize my usage of this space, or re-display things here that might already be on display.-Orange: I felt like I just created a second, empty table on top of the base table. I plan on reducing the "flat" part of the table for a more eye-catching display.-Green: I have had these wire stands for far too long, and after this event I decided it was time to change it up. I've since bought the frosted plastic displays that are most common in artist alleys nowadays.-Blue: This one sort of fits in with Green - I only used foam board and poster board to hide my product. I hated the look and got the plastic display stands to prevent me from ever having to do this again, lol.

Improvements for 2026!

So I did another draw over of what I want my table to look like moving forward! For starters, I want to focus on having more branding around so that people can recognize my name! I am going to start by having a sign placed higher up (but not going over the height limit!) so that people from afar can see it, and also have something placed a little bit lower so that people up close also can see my name.As mentioned before, I also have added some more display pieces to my collection! This includes another postcard/print holder, and a sticker holder. To fill up the space on the other side from those display stands, I plan on using the stands themselves to create a slanted display for my keychains and pins.Similarly to last year, I plan on having my product on a printed display - sort of like a background. This is to help hide my product as before, but also make what's on display pop a little bit.My concept moving forward for my display is to make it cozier. Not cottage core cozier, but just more warm and welcoming. I want to use more warm colours as I feel like I panicked at the last minute in 2025 and relied much too heavily on the white.
